The City of Tonasket is requesting quotes to replace the roofing on an approximately 4,000 square foot Public Works Shop Building and replace miscellaneous damaged ceiling and wall. Interested contractors can request a detailed scope of work by calling (509) 486-2132 or in person at the Tonasket City Hall 209 Whitcomb Avenue, South, Tonasket WA 98855, Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM; local time. Sealed quotes will be accepted until 4:30 pm, Friday, April 26th, 2019. The City of Tonasket reserves the right to reject and all quotes.
General Scope of Work: Remove & properly dispose of all existing roofing assemblies, damaged ceiling and wall covering as marked. Verify roof framing and skip sheeting is not in need of repair prior to reroofing. Acceptable roofing materials to be considered can be Delta Rib metal roofing with 15# felt underlayment. Acceptable ceiling covering is not less than ½” ceiling rated GWB and wall covering is not less than 7/16 OSB. Contractors shall provide and follow the manufacturer’s listed installation requirements. Warranty shall not be less than 15 years for labor & materials, with option for an additional 5 year warranty.

The City of Tonasket is requesting quotes to replace approximately 5,000 square feet of roof on the Tonasket City Hall Complex. Interested contractors can request a detailed scope of work by calling (509) 486-2132 or in person at the Tonasket City Hall, 209 S. Whitcomb Ave, Tonasket, WA 98855, Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; local time. Quotes will be accepted until Friday, May 9, 2019 1:00 PM local time. The City of Tonasket reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.
DETAILED SCOPE OF WORK & REQUIREMENTS; Please note: Asbestos is present in the work area, notably in the roofing material tar, coatings and flashing sealants. A copy of the complete report will be provided upon request. Remove & properly dispose of all existing roofing and underlayment assemblies down to the metal deck (for final payment provide evidence of proper handling and disposal of asbestos containing material). Verify roof and parapet framing, sheeting and covering is not in need of repair prior to reroofing, make minor repairs as needed; if significant repairs are needed, notify the owner and provide a change order bid. Install not less than nominal R-38 closed cell foam deck insulation assembly; ensure foam is listed for use and deck flutes spans, raise roof HVAC equipment, plumbing vents, roof drains and scuppers to proper elevations for functions. Install new roof covering, acceptable roofing materials to be considered can be PVC single ply membrane or spray on polyurethane foam. Contractors shall provide and follow the manufacturer’s listed installation requirements. Warranty shall not be less than 15 years for labor & materials, with option for an additional 5 year warranty. Contractors must include Washington State sales tax and applicable prevailing wage rate in quotes.
Note: The City of Tonasket will be responsible for the building permit.

The City of Tonasket Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Tonasket City Hall at 209 S.
