The City of Tonasket's Police Department staff perform many duties such as felony and misdemeanor investigations, traffic control, city ordinance enforcement, bike patrol and animal control. They serve the community providing a DARE program, a safety program, reserve police Program (certified Reserve Officers), a crime prevention program, Career Mentor program (High School Students), and pre-school to K-12 programs. They have established an emergency response program in cooperation with the County Emergency Services Agency. They also assist County and State law enforcement officers when requested. |
